Lashawn Garnes is a script supervisor in the film/tv industry. She received her BA in History at Rutgers University. Raised in Jersey City, NJ. Lashawn began her role as a script supervisor working on NYU short films and independent shorts. What sparked Lashawn’s interest in the role as a script supervisor was the intense detail oriented responsibilities. The ability to maintain continuity and quality of the script is a fulfilling role for her. Lashawn has been trained under Shari Carpenter, Spike Lee’s script supervisor and received additional guidance by Mary Cybulski, a script supervisor for Michael Clayton and Syriana, just to name a few.
